Our monthly writing salon is back! First Saturday of the month from 6-7:30, led by Celeste Gurevich, who will gently guide you on this journey of exploration. This month (we hear from 3 local poets on the last Thursday of most months) we’ll hear from Sarah Bokich, whose collection Rocking Chair at the End of the World was recently released, Vargus Pike, whose July Song was published after he wrote a poem a day through July, and Tricia Knoll, whose Broadfork Farm was just published by the local Poetry Box Press.
This month we’ll be hearing from local poets Leah Noble Davidson, Emmett Wheatfall, and Zachary Schomburg. Each of them is the author of multiple books of poetry and has such a unique voice, the trio should be something not to miss.
April is National Poetry Month, and to celebrate, we will be hearing from John Sibley Williams, Shaindel Beers, and Cecelia Hagen. Don’t miss this poetry reading on this of all months! (We host 3 local poets on the last Thursday of every month.)
This month’s poetry reading will be featuring local poets Lynn Knapp, Leah Noble Davidson, and Tiffany Burba. All are published by local presses, so it’s especially exciting.
