Wear All the Hats: A Marketing Workshop for Authors

POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 2

Cal Spivey and Margaret Pinard will be leading a series of workshops in 2017 to help authors manage all the hats required to be a successful solopreneur. There’s a lot that goes into being an author (and you thought writing a book was hard!) and each of these workshops will cover a different stages along the way.

This first workshop will focus on that most dreaded of topics for an author: MARKETING. Come with questions and meet new writer friends!

Pride Foundation Fundraiser with Local Authors Kate Carroll de Gutes, Robert Hill, Cait Spivey, and Kelly Jeske

It’s our second annual literary fundraiser for the amazing Pride Foundation. (See more here: https://www.pridefoundation.org). Come hear and support local queer authors Kate Carroll de Gutes (Objects in Mirror are Closer Than They Appear – Oregon Book Award winner, Lambda Literary winner), Robert Hill (The Remnants), Cait Spivey (From Under the Mountain), and past scholarship recipient Kelly Jeske. You’ll learn about Pride Foundation and the work that they do, have a literary good time with these local authors, and have a chance to help out Pride Foundation if you wish.
